　　1. exercise 意為習(xí)題；（書(shū)面）練習(xí)時(shí)為可數(shù)名詞。例如：

　　Study the lesson， and then do the exercises at the end.

　　學(xué)課文，然后做后面的'練習(xí)。

　　exercise 還可表示（體育或器官）運(yùn)動(dòng)；活動(dòng)；鍛煉，籠統(tǒng)指運(yùn)動(dòng)時(shí)為不可數(shù)名詞；指具體某項(xiàng)運(yùn)動(dòng)時(shí)為可數(shù)名詞。例如：

　　If you don't take / get more exercise， you'll get fat.

　　你不多鍛煉就會(huì)發(fā)胖。

　　gymnastic exercises 體操運(yùn)動(dòng)

　　2. cover 意為蓋，遮蓋；采訪，報(bào)道。例如：

　　The ruins were soon covered by thick forests.

　　廢墟很快被茂密的樹(shù)林所覆蓋。

　　Reporters are then sent to cover the events.

　　然后記者被派去采訪這個(gè)事件。

　　試體會(huì) cover 在不同語(yǔ)境中的詞義變化：
