關(guān)于people的四個詞,可能大家很早就聽說過了吧,但我不知道是否都弄清楚了,所以在這里再提一下.
a people,peoples,people,the people有何區(qū)別?你分清了嘛?
a people 指一個國家或地區(qū)的"民族、人民".
peoples 為a people的復(fù)數(shù)形式,指許多國家或地區(qū)的不同的"民族、人民".
people 泛指"人們",是集合名詞,不能指一人.以單數(shù)形式表示復(fù)數(shù)意義,謂語動詞要用復(fù)數(shù)
the people 指"人民",可指某個國家的人民,也可指全世界的人民.它表示復(fù)數(shù)概念.若the people作為主語,它的謂語動詞要用復(fù)數(shù)形式.
